Friday October 16, 2009, I sat in on a mass communications seminar at my Alma Mater Norfolk State University. On the podium, Isat next to a man who turned me on to blogtalkradio.com. His name is Kevin Ross...he is also called "The Boss!" He was a former California district judge, but he felt unfulfilled. So he entered the world of talk radio at Los Angeles AM powerhouse KABC. He left there and started his own media company. At he same time, he started his own weekly talk show on the internet. It has proven to be a successful move. Ross gave the message to the students at the seminar and me also that opportunity in life is there for the taking...it is not given to you. It lit a fire in me to make something happen. So that afternoon I joined blogtalkradio.com and I now have my own talk show. (Kevin Ross is a former California District Judge, who this fall will enter the syndicated court show wars with "America's Court With Judge Ross". Kevin continues to do his blogtalkradio show every Wednesday at 10pm/eastern called "The Kevin Ross Show."

I have entered the world of internet talk radio on Tuesday October 20, 2009. I have not been on radio regularly in a month of Sundays.
The show was originally called "Tom O'Neal's Monday Evening Quarterback" for it aired right before "Monday Night Football" and "WWE Monday Night Raw". Although the show title was tied into sports, the show was about my life and the things involved in it (sports was one of those things). As the New Year changed, so did the title of the show. I changed the name of the show to "TomONTheRadio" to reflect the overall talk conversations ONTheRadio.
